The VERDI ACADEMY was born to honor and celebrate those entrepreneurial spirits of initiative and innovation that enlive and characterize our industry. The Academy, dedicated to the new and innovative VERDI SPUMANTE, is a confraternity which in convivial pleasure intends to award those individuals who try to move away from the monotony of the commonplace and who try to follow thier own way. We mean those people who venture alone into new fields, courageously facing the dangers of mistake rather then following known paths.
Under the guidance of "five wises" the Academy meets twice a year to choose the worthy and to deliver the diploma of "Academic Innovator".

  Walter Bocchino is managing director of Vini Bée SA in Lugano, Switzerland. He is the one who transformed Vini Bée SA from a small company to one of the most important in the Swiss wine industry.
