If the grapes are only Pinot Noir and/or Chardonnay, if the aging on the lees lasts at least 30 months, if it is always single-vintaged, if the terroir comprises the hills of some villages in the provinces of Cuneo, Asti and Alessandria. Then it is an Alta Langa D.O.C.G.
